Ever since the first SUV launched by Nissan in 1951 which was the Nissan Patrol rolled out of it production facility in japan it had changed the scenario of the premium luxury SUV segment in the market by that time.The first model that came in sight looked very similar to the Willys jeep then but the 75 bhp jeep didn’t just stop there rather is took of higher and leaped to its very next model within the next decade the second generation was bigger, better and even more powerful than its predecessor. Ever since then Nissan kept on developing the Patrol variant and produced many different models such as Murano, Terrano, X-Trail, Safari. The competitors were shocked to see the massive interest amongst people about the early models of the Nissan and give it a hard fall Toyota launched its best luxury SUV till date the Land Cruiser Prado the iconic car not only took away a huge market share from Nissan but did turn out to be the dream car for most of the off-road enthusiasts. Nissan did take the blow well but never surrenders and by producing more compatible and affordable SUV`s it got back in the completion and is still neck to neck with Toyota.
