Japan Used Toyota Vitz for Sale

The Toyota Vitz is a three and five-door subcompact HatchBack car manufactured by Toyota Motor Corporation since 1998. the name "Toyota Vitz" has been used consistently in Japan, with most international markets receiving the same vehicle under the Toyota Yaris name.

The First Generation was designed by "Sotiris Kovos". Production of Toyota Vitz was began in late 1998. Vitz was initially available with two gasoline-powered 4-cylinder 1.0 L and 1.3 L engines with Toyota's VVT-i technology, but after the 2003 facelift, a 1.4 L D4-D diesel engine offering 75bhp was included into the lineup.

Second Generation was produced in 2005. The previous 4-cylinder 1.0 VVT-i engine was replaced by the 3-cylinder engine and 1.3 liter engine was revised to offer slightly more power, and the 1.4 D-4D got a 15 PS (11 kW; 15 hp) boost to 90 PS (66 kW; 89 hp), the former engine allowing it to achieve exceptional fuel economy. In Japan, the 2nd generation model is still sold as the Vitz.

In 2010, Toyota launched the third generation of Vitz in Japan, and it was launched in other countries by the end of 2011. New features include a single windscreen wiper and an engine start-stop system with a claimed 26.5 km/L (3.8 L/100 km; 62.3 mpg-US) for the Japanese streets.
