Japan Used Toyota Altis for Sale

Toyota launched a new version of Corolla with edgier styling and more technology for the Asian Market. Its station wagon model is called the Corolla Fielder in Japan.

Toyota Corolla Altis was also launched in its Hybrid version. While the car looks similar to Corolla, it has visual tweaks including a bespoke grille with the blue emblem, Hybrid Synergy drive badging on the boot lid and a 4.2-inch TFT MID unit on the instrument cluster for the hybrid system. The seat upholstery is also different on the model while Toyota offers the light blue color scheme for more exclusivity

In terms of power, the Japan spec Corolla Altis hybrid is equipped with Toyota Hybrid System II, which uses a 1.5-litre Atkinson Cycle petrol engine tuned to produce 73hp and is paired to a 60hp electric motor churning out a combined 99hp of power. The battery is placed under the rear seat though, unlike the Camry Hybrid. The Corolla Altis Hybrid is capable of returning a fuel efficiency figure of 33 km/l in the Japanese driving cycle
