The Mitsubishi Eclipse JDM Car is a compact sports car produced by the Mitsubishi from 1989 to 2011. A convertible body style version was added since 1996 model year. The first generation 1G appeared in 1989 to 1994 the engine 2.0L 195 HP 4G63T l4 Turbo, Transmission F5M22 Manual W/o Turbo (FWD), 4-speed automatic (AWD), the wheelbase 2470 mm, length 4390 mm, height 1310 mm and kerb weight 1145 kg etc.

The second generation 2G JDM Car revealed in 1995 to 1999 the engine 2.0L (210 Hp) (160kW) Turbo l4, Transmission 4-speed automatic and 5-speed manual, the wheelbase 2510 mm, length 4380 mm, width 1740 mm etc. The third generation 3G appeared from 2000 to 2005 with 3.0L 210 Hp (160kW) V6 and the GS has a 162 hp (121 kW) 2.4 L MIVEC 4-cylinder engine, transmission 4-speed automatic and 5-speed manual, the wheelbase 2560 mm, width 1750 mm and curb weight 1280 (Coupe), 1380 (Convertible) etc. The V6 produces 263 hp (196 kW) and 260 ft-lb (350 N·m) of torque. 

The fourth generation 4G revealed in 2006 to 2012 with 3.8L 263 Hp ( 196 kW) V6 engine, transmission 4/5- speed automatic and 5/6-speed manual, the wheelbase 2576 mm, width 1834 mm etc. All 2G Eclipses present with standard features such as driver and front-passenger airbags, side-guard door beams, front and rear body structure crumple zones, 5 mph energy absorbing bumpers, safety cage body construction, 4- wheel disc brakes (except RS), three-point ELR/ALR lap/shoulder safety belts (ELR only for driver) and height adjustable front shoulder belts and anti-lock brakes was optional on all JDM Car models.
