Isuzu Elf Ut

The Isuzu Elf UT is a small box shaped vehicle manufactured by the Isuzu from 1996 to 2001. Its successor was Isuzu ELF Van. The model was presented by Nissan as Nissan Atlas MAX. It took over the succession of Isuzu Begin since 2001. The technical base of the Isuzu eleven, the Elf UT developed a hood style box-wagons. The UT had, however, basically the driver's cabin of the 4th generation of the Isuzu Elf, although the 5th generation started a little later. In contrast to other competitors, the UT was not available with all-wheel drive.

The 4JG2 3.1 L diesel engine with 1.5 tonnes of payload and the 4HF1 4.3L diesel engine for the 2 and 3 tonnes payload variants were used as engines. The transmission took place by means of a 5-speed manual gearbox or 4-speed automatic gearbox. A technical revision with an improved braking system and reduced emissions took place in August 1999. In addition, Isuzu now also provided a camper base and a minibus based on the UT. In October 2001, the Isuzu Begin was replaced. In contrast to the Elf UT, the Nissan Atlas MAX offered with only 1.5 tonnes and 2.0 tonnes of payload. Otherwise, only the emblems of the Isuzu model differed.
