The Nissan Teana is a luxury mid-size sedan car built by the Japanese automaker Nissan Motors since 2003. It is also sold as the "Nissan Maxima" and Nissan Cefiro in some markets. Its platform is shared with the Nissan Altima.
The Teana (J31) was first appeared in 2003 to the Japanese Domestic Market as a sedan partner to the Nissan Murano. It was used a number of engines, namely the QR20DE, QR25DE, VQ23DE and a slightly detuned version of the VQ35DE.
Second generation Nissan Teana (J32) was went to sale as 2009 model year, it offers engine choices that include a 3.5-liter V6, a 2.5-liter V6, a 2.5-liter inline four and 2-liter inline four. Third Generation of Nissan Teana (L33) is currently being build and introduced to Japan in 2013.
